For years I worked at a career outside my home, and one of the hardest things I had to do was to leave my loyal, loving companions - my dogs - at home alone. And when we went on vacations I knew the boarding kennels would care for their physical needs but not the personal attention - the hugging and petting that make them feel loved - that my special dogs deserved.
I believed many others felt the same, so twenty-one years ago I decided to offer "in home" day care and boarding. The dogs that come to us share our family life just like our own dogs, which means plenty of love and attention and no kennels. Plus they have a large, fenced-in back yard to run and play in with direct access to the house.
Luna first came to us as more than 10 years ago for daycare and then as a 5-day-a-week boarder. When her owner could no longer keep her, she was adopted into our family.
Remington's "mom" needed to find him a new home in the summer of 2020. He joined our family and immediately took on the role of getting other dogs to play..
